Sometimes you just want that little side dish or appetizer to accompany a fresh, summertime meal. And oftentimes, if you’re like me, you have a ripe avocado sitting on your kitchen counter waiting to be sliced open. Here’s a fast, simple idea that’s sure to please. It’s almost like my Avocado Toasts, reverse-engineered.
Slice up the avocado and fan the slices out on a plate. Drizzle with a little olive oil, some balsamic, and top with homemade bread crumbs (you can see how to do that here) and a dash of red chili flakes.
